This painting is part of the series Line and Shapes. The lines form interesting and unusual shapes against a pale blue background resulting in a charming arrangement which is reminiscent of  child's drawings. Since teaching art in elementary school, children's drawings have always fascinated me. They are full of imagination and the reduction of detail to simple forms is full of meaning. The approach to this painting was unpremeditated  with the result  that the forms emerge without conscious control.

I will pack your painting very carefully with layers of glassine paper, cardboard covers, reinforced corners, and bubble wrap. Small and medium sized paintings are shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. Larger paintings are shipped in a wooden crate.
